Emission Solution
Electricity: most power plants use coal as a fuel to produce electricity, however a scoal is a fossil fuel it is not sustainable, and it creates large emissions.

Wave farms: wave farms convert the energy from the waves into electricity using a hydraulic ram. As there is plenty of ocean, this is a solution for many countries, as you don't need much land, the only land needed is for the convergence to electricity and storage.
wind farms. the wind turns the turbines, creating electricity. wind farms are suitable for anywhere windy.
solar: even just having one on your roof for your hot water reduces your electricity usage. solar panels don't take up too much space so a lot of uninhabitable dessert could be taken up by solar panels. solar panels work by piping a liquid through the panels and allowing the sun to heat it up. the liquid is then used to heat up water, turming it into steam. The steam then turns a turbine, producing electricity.
Geothermal: underneath the earths crust is a large amount of heat, in some regions this heat bubbles up, for example, Iceland, often in the form of geysers. Iceland does not use coal for their power plants anymore, they now only use geothermal energy.
